The first thing you see is Big Dick. (For you out-of-towners, it's "Big Dick" like "Big Ben," not the Big Dick.) That's not it's official name, of course, but what can you possibly expect when someone builds an enormous, rocket-like abstract sculpture and plants it right out in front of a place called the Nixon Space Center? Once there was a scantily clad 1950s sci-fi astronaut girl saluting it, but if you stood in a particular place and squinted a little, it looked like she was stroking it off. |
